This comprehensive resource was designed to provide information on all facets of mortgages – essentially a resource where one can learn all there is to know about mortgages, the home buying process, and the residential lending products offered by FCB. Mortgage Central is a resounding success and testament to the talents at work at Green Group Studio.

Mark your calendars mobile marketers, January 10th, 2017 is set to be another major deadline after Google's most recent announcement regarding pesky pop-up ads and interstitials (elements that interfere with a site's content) on mobile search results. You know what I'm talking about, those annoying pop-ups that make it nearly impossible to successfully find out just how many famous people were actually in the Harry Potter movies without wanting to throw you phone against a wall. These pop-up ads make us want to laugh, cry, groan, and worst of all, click away from a website.

Companies, both large and small, want to know what a website will cost them before moving forward with such an investment. Unfortunately, there is no exact answer that can be provided without knowing their unique set of business needs first. Very much like asking how much a house costs, the answer depends on a variety of factors, including how big it is, what features are needed, the location, and the layout. A website is your business' online home; how much are you willing to pay for it? While smaller businesses can get away with a relatively cheap informational website ranging from $3,000-$5,000, if the website is the backbone of your revenue model, you can expect that the additional required functionality to increase the cost. Typically, medium-sized business websites in 2016 can cost anywhere from $8k to $20k, while large (or web-based) businesses can expect to pay $10-100k+ for a website. These increased costs are all related to the amount of functionality. The more expensive websites have web application development needs (where specific business, membership, or complex e-commerce tasks are carried out).

Instagram's new logo looks like version of Microsoft background.

This past May, Instagram did the unthinkable, the unimaginable, the shocking—they updated their software to version 8.0. Gone is our beloved retro brown camera logo, replaced instead with a gradient rainbow that looks suspiciously similar to an old Microsoft background (see stage left). Like saying goodbye to an old friend whose presence is comforting and familiar, Instagram users now find themselves overwhelmed with emotion as they frantically search for the app among the hundreds of other brightly-colored icons crowding their phone screens.

When it comes to designing packaging for food products, companies have almost complete creative control regarding the overall design. However, one of the elements that every company’s packaging MUST have is a Nutrition Facts label (other items include the ingredients list, manufacturer’s name and address, and a statement of identity). Thanks to the FDA (a government agency charged with regulating food, supplements, drugs, etc.) a majority of companies selling a packaged food, beverages, or dietary supplements must include a nutrition label in their design.
