Ahh yes, it’s that special time of year when we get to express our affinity for the franchise created by billionaire philanthropist George Lucas. For anyone living under a rock this past year, Lucas sold the Star Wars franchise to Disney for an obscene amount of money and decided to donate ALL of it to educational charities – Wow, and you thought Zuckerburg was a saint for only taking a dollar for his 2013 salary and bonuses for flying the Millennium Facebook!
Well Mr. L, we salute you and hope that Disney takes the reins and does what everyone expects: makes an awesome amusement park so we can finally fly in spaceships! Thank you for being one of the strongest creative forces that our generation has ever known. You are definitely amongst the stars in our book, and we are sure we’re not alone!
