Recently acquired by Synovus Bank, Florida Community Bank had over $10 billion in assets, was one of the most well-capitalized banks in the state, and the second-largest Florida-based bank. In 2018, FCB was ranked as the 8th Best Bank in America by Forbes. Green Group Studio was enlisted to provide rebranding, web development and marketing services that brought this historic bank new life, eventually positioning it for acquisition.
FCB entrusted GGS to create their Branding Standards Manual (BSM) to ensure that their brand guidelines are well-defined and easy to follow for everyone involved in the marketing the bank. This guide ensures proper usage of every aspect of the brand from logo design, spacing, coloring, sizes and approved variations, to stylistic treatments of colors and text corresponding to the bank’s various lines of business.
When we started rebranding FCB, we wanted to design something attention-grabbing for their in-store signage. Before, FCB’s signage was lacking customer connection and needed much updating. Some of the things we did to improve their signage were anchoring each sign with a bar in their main corporate color, identifying each product with a unique color, and incorporating the human element in the imagery. Their branding was recently updated with a san-serif font for a more modern look.
One way FCB remained in touch with the communities they serve was through the use of direct mailers and postcards. Ranging from innovative product promotions to event announcements, these marketing materials were playful yet professional, and commanded attention.
FCB’s annual holiday cards were sent to their friends, family, and customers. GGS has been tasked with providing unique card designs year after year. FCB’s events also required creative event invitation design. One in particular was the Cruz Building Event, which we provided invitations for, as well as other print and digital collateral such as name badges, electronic invite, and customized party favors.
Green Group Studio has written and produced multiple videos for Florida Community Bank. Whether they cover specific products (like “Refer a Friend”) or FCB as a whole (like their video for the “Women’s Fund”), GGS captures the spirit and values of FCB in a visually interesting way.
Here is a sample of the hundreds (literally) of ads we have created for FCB – ranging from print and digital, to program ads. Additionally, we have expertly resized ads to fit multiple publications to keep costs down. Our studio is also bilingual (English and Spanish) and provides translation services, ensuring the Spanish-speaking market is catered to. We can also provide certified translations (of any language) whenever needed.
Mortgage Central was created by the Green Group Studio team to provide potential and current FCB mortgage customers with a central location for all of their home financing needs. Sleek, stylish, and informational, this microsite was designed, developed, and written by GGS. In addition to everything you would expect about mortgages, including mortgage calculators, this digital mortgage guide featured a First-Time Homebuyer’s Guide section with specific tips for those new to homeownership. We also coded a unique bookmarking system functionality, allowing users to bookmark where they left off so they could return later to the same spot.
From new products to offers, we’ve designed several campaigns for FCB to fit their every marketing need. Each campaign focused on a product line and target market and was comprised of various print and digital designs to reach customers with multiple touch points.
When FCB needed large-scale marketing, they came to us. These trolley wraps were on display across several South Florida cities, promoting FCB campaigns as well as their general services. Vehicle wraps are a great way to get your message to travel.
At FCB, they’re all about serving the community—that includes local businesses. We helped them reach their audience and better serve them by designing several informative marketing pieces such as ads, brochures, and teller signs. With clear messaging, visual aids, and calls to action, we helped FCB achieve new heights.
