When the Highlands County Tourism Development Council needed marketing collateral to boost tourism, they relied on GGS. From the beautiful tranquility of Highlands Hammock State Park to the famed Sebring International Raceway, tourists “choose their own speed” when visiting this unique Florida destination. To find out what makes Sebring different from other Florida destinations, we did some research—identifying their most popular destinations, while talking with locals to get better acquainted with everything Sebring.
This 52-page, full-color Visitor Guide features Sebring and surrounding areas as a travel destination. The guide helps you “Choose Your Speed” when planning a trip to this diverse vacation destination. From the fast-paced Sebring raceway to the more relaxing leisure and sports activities that the area has to offer like fishing and nature trails. This guide hits on the hottest spots including the most popular places and restaurants, based on online reviews. We coordinated all design aspects and pagination as well as wrote a large portion of the content and featured stories ensuring to highlight everything Sebring has to offer.
The Visit Sebring Nature Brochure was designed to highlight all the natural splendor and hidden gems Highlands County has to offer. When we began designing their Nature Brochure, we made sure to use a natural color palette to differentiate it from their more vivid Attractions Brochure, which we had previously designed. Adopting a new color scheme for the Nature Brochure while maintaining the Attractions brochure’s look and feel created a consistency, which we used for their other marketing materials.
When we were given the opportunity to design the Visit Sebring Attractions Brochure, our immediate thought was, let’s make it fun and engaging! Sebring, FL is most known for Sebring International Raceway; however, we wanted to show people that there are many other reasons to visit Highlands County. We wanted to highlight some of those reasons by featuring attractions from these places that make Highlands County unique, fun, and one of a kind. This created interest and made the brochure more engaging. The attractions listings were organized by city and assigned their own colors for ease in identifying where each attraction is found.
We try not to play favorites, but we love some of our work too much not to share!
