Improving Government UI/UX
The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office (PAPA) needed a cleaner, more intuitive user experience for its high-traffic website. GGS was brought in to redesign the homepage and core property detail pages—improving usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness while integrating seamlessly with the agency’s existing systems.
UI/UX Design
Green Group Studio created fresh, modern mockups for the homepage, property detail views, and key informational pages. The design emphasized clarity, accessibility, and intuitive navigation—ensuring users could easily access the most-used tools like property searches and exemption info.
Front-End Development
We translated the approved designs into responsive, standards-based front-end code optimized for both desktop and mobile performance. Accessibility-conscious implementation was prioritized, including validated color contrast ratios, semantic HTML structure, and fully keyboard-navigable components to support accessibility best practices.
Development was executed using Bootstrap and other frameworks already embedded within PAPA’s technical environment. By aligning with their established stack, we ensured seamless backend integration and enabled the internal FIS team to deploy, manage, and maintain the new layouts with minimal training or workflow disruption.

Our team worked closely with PAPA’s internal FIS department to ensure every enhancement aligned with technical requirements and existing system architecture. We delivered clean handoff files and coordinated implementation to support an efficient, disruption-free deployment.
The result is a cleaner, more consistent website experience that improves property search usability, content discovery, and cross-device performance. The updated interface also positions the platform for long-term scalability and future enhancements to core property appraisal tools and services.
