Turning the Page on Literacy
The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives through literacy education. Serving children, adults, and families throughout the county, the Coalition offers educational programs, tutoring, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives that help individuals develop essential reading skills. To better connect with the community and communicate its mission, the Coalition engaged Green Group Studio to redesign and redevelop its website, creating a more engaging, accessible, and organized digital presence.
A New Chapter in Web Design
Green Group Studio redesigned and redeveloped the Literacy Coalition’s website, creating a refreshed digital experience that brings the organization’s mission, programs, and community involvement opportunities into focus. Beginning with homepage wireframes and design mockups, our team developed a responsive layout with inviting imagery, streamlined navigation, and clearly organized content.
The redevelopment included transferring and restyling existing pages, migrating articles and media, and building reusable content sections to maintain visual consistency throughout the website. Following its July 2024 launch, GGS continued supporting the site with technical refinements, including Cloudflare configuration and DNS updates.
Giving Every Program a Place to Shine
With numerous educational initiatives and community events, the Coalition needed a website capable of presenting a wide range of information without overwhelming visitors. GGS developed and refined dedicated content sections for programs such as Literacy AmeriCorps, along with event page templates and promotional pages for initiatives including Read for the Record.
Our team also enhanced the homepage’s event and news presentation and implemented photo gallery functionality, giving the organization additional ways to showcase its activities, promote upcoming opportunities, and share its impact throughout Palm Beach County.
Making It Easier to Make a Difference
Community support is essential to the Literacy Coalition’s mission. As part of the website redevelopment, GGS worked extensively on the Donate page, refining its layout and content to create a more organized and inviting experience for prospective supporters.
The updated page complements the website’s broader focus on community involvement, helping visitors understand the importance of supporting literacy programs and find opportunities to contribute. Together with the site’s improved content organization and navigation, these enhancements provide a stronger digital platform for connecting the Coalition with the people and resources that support its work.
