A Digital Town Hall With Deep Roots
Known for its coastal beauty, historic Australian pine canopy, and distinctive residential character, the Town of Gulf Stream has preserved its identity for more than a century. Green Group Studio was hired to bring that same sense of character to the Town’s digital presence, creating a welcoming website that connects residents with municipal information, services, and community updates.
From the original website development to subsequent redesigns, branding projects, and ongoing technical support, GGS has helped the Town maintain a digital presence that evolves alongside the community it serves.

Making Waves in Municipal Web Design
A municipality’s website should make essential information easy to find without sacrificing its community’s character. GGS designed and developed Gulf Stream’s original website, then returned to modernize the experience with a WordPress-powered rebuild.
The updated website brought together the Town’s history, municipal departments, resident resources, and public information within a more organized, manageable platform. With an adaptable content management system, Town staff gained the flexibility to update information and keep residents informed as community needs changed.
Keeping the Community in the Current
From public meetings to neighborhood notices, timely communication is an essential part of local government. GGS configured and refined website functionality to help residents navigate Town announcements, upcoming events, public documents, photo galleries, and other useful resources.
The website provides convenient access to municipal information, including meeting schedules, Town notices, public records resources, and community services. The result is a centralized online destination that makes staying connected with local government more convenient.
A Seal of Approval
A well-established municipal identity deserves careful preservation. When the Town needed updated artwork for its existing logo, GGS meticulously recreated the mark, researching typography and refining the artwork while respecting its established appearance.
The project included preparing artwork for digital and print applications, developing a four-color representation of the gold lettering, and supplying Pantone color files for production vendors. These deliverables helped the Town maintain a consistent visual identity across different media.
A Century Worth Celebrating
In 2025, Gulf Stream reached an extraordinary milestone: 100 years since its incorporation. To help commemorate the occasion, GGS developed two centennial logo concepts that incorporated the Town’s established identity into a special anniversary presentation.
The commemorative branding was also incorporated into the Town’s website, giving its digital presence a fitting visual acknowledgment of a century of community history.
Keeping Accessibility on the Agenda
A public-facing government website must continually evolve to address accessibility and usability needs. GGS has supported the Town with targeted accessibility improvements, including adjustments to text presentation, color contrast, and website interface elements.
More recently, our work included reviewing the Town’s PDF inventory, organizing older documents, and refining the website’s search-field contrast. These improvements reflect an ongoing effort to make municipal information easier to access, navigate, and maintain.
A Website That Keeps Serving
Our work with Gulf Stream extends well beyond the initial website launch. Over the years, GGS has provided ongoing WordPress maintenance, theme and plugin updates, technical troubleshooting, content enhancements, and administrative training.
From keeping the platform updated to helping Town staff publish new information and integrate additional communication resources, our continued involvement helps keep the website functional, relevant, and ready to support the community’s changing needs.
