Green Group Studio designed and developed a completely redesigned website for the Delray Beach Historical Society and Heritage Gardens, creating a modern digital home for the organization’s history, programs, archives, events, membership, and community resources.
The site balances the character of a local historical organization with a more contemporary user experience, helping visitors explore Delray Beach history, discover events and tours, support the Society, and learn more about the organization from desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.
Under The Hood
The website includes donation and membership functionality, event and gallery management, responsive layouts, and a content structure designed so the Society can continue adding programs, stories, historic resources, and community information over time. Performance and delivery were also supported through Cloudflare.
What’s more hipster than making old things in new technology?
In order to make their website as snappy as possible, we also implemented a Cloudflare CDN. This serves up the website faster than an order of avocado toast without the avocado!
Nonprofit Website Design With a Story to Tell
Nonprofit websites often need to do several jobs at once: explain the mission, organize programs and events, support donations and memberships, and make it easy for different audiences to find the right information. The Delray Beach Historical Society project is one example of how GGS combines design, development, storytelling, and content management for nonprofit organizations.
